Coghlan's Liquid-Filled Map Compass with Clear Base

Bring a compact map-reading tool along on your next hike with Coghlan's Map Compass. The see-through base lets you view the map beneath it, while the rotating, liquid-filled housing provides the familiar layout used for compass work. It is a practical addition to a hiking pack, camping kit, or outdoor navigation lesson.

A jeweled needle and luminous pointer are paired with a 1:25,000 map scale and millimeter markings. The clear base helps you work directly over printed map details without covering them completely, and the included instruction sheet gives you a reference as you get familiar with the compass.
